Individual Chess Pieces

Individual chess pieces are now available to order directly from our site, so if you are looking for spares, such as a spare queen or you have a damaged or missing item then help is at hand. We do our best to keep chess pieces in stock from the numerous sets that have been produced since 1969.

Over the years the processes and materials have changed and therefore, so have the colours and we believe that it is important, where possible, to match the colours as best as we can. This is why we request you to send images from the set you require and ask you to let us know your best guess as to the age of your set.

While sorting through our many pieces and checking them against the images you send is labour intensive we have tried our best to keep our costs to a minimum.

NOTE, REPLACEMENT PIECES CAN ONLY BE SHIPPED SEPERATELY TO OTHER ITEMS, ORDERING WITH OTHER ITEMS WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL CARRIAGE CHARGE.

If we do not have a suitable piece in our archives you will be refunded.

The two Queens

Ordered two replacement Queens for pawn exchange purposes.
Both were safely delivered within a couple of days.
What was really noticeable was the fact that delivery was free. This is quite unusual as we living in the Highlands and islands are almost always charged by companies who think we live in a different country.
Well done on both counts guys.
Will be putting business your way again.

Found Missing Pawn

I lost a Pawn from a "Battle of Hastings" Chess set and Harry at Studio Anne Carlton was able to find a replacement. He only needed a couple pictures and the name and was able to locate a suitable replacement. I received the new pawn quickly in the mail and it was a perfect match. Replacement pawn

Very pleased with the customer service. They found me a replacement, very close to my broken one. My civil war set is 20 years old. Received it in three days. And I live in the states.
